Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette was an American voice actor, actress, film and television star born on January 31, 1937, and died on January 19, 2008. Pleshette began her acting career in the theatre and appeared in films in late 1950s. Then, she became an important actor in films like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). Later, she appeared in many television productions and was often acting as a guest. She was Emily Hartley in The Bob Newhart Show, from 1972 until 1978, in which she earned numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City on the 31st of January in 1937. The parents of the couple were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was a dancer, artist , and choreographer who performed under her stage name of Geraldine Rivers. Her father was the stage manager of the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
