Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of 14. After training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling she was able to make her debut as an amateur against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd was able to beat three times over the course of a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated had been defeated in the first second. In the following fight, she was back at WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen and defeated her by an unanimous vote to remove the blemish on Aspen's amateur record. Ladd bounced back from defeat with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen turned professional in the year 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. The next time she fought, she won with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills has smashed McGill, and she was able to stop her in the third round by TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 in weight catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd failed to meet weight. But, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. She finished her via TKO in the second-round. In her last fight for this promotion, Ladd beat Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina as she used a combination of ground and pound to defeat her by TKO in the second-round. In her second fight, she beat Tonya Evinger in a way that was even more spectacular. Ladd was able to beat Evinger to the punch in the first round. She also received a performance of the Night prize. Sijara Eubanks of Invicta FC was her opponent in a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's first fight in a major tournament. The two fighters had an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and both fighters receiving an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. in the 3rd round on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
