Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Taylor is an American actor and producer who is best known for the roles she played as the character of Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist as well as the TV series The Mentalist. She graduated with a BA at Brown University in African-American Studies. The Tisch School of the Arts, New York University she received an MFA. She gained fame for playing Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. Then, she made an appearance on BET's epic show The Book of Negroes. In 1995 she was the first actress to make her debut with The Tempest as Ariel. Her stage credits include Come and Gone Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production of Joe Turner. She is most well-known for her role in the series Men of Honor and The Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. Her role on television in the ABC's crime drama series High Incident has earned her the praise of her fellow actors.
